New social technologies allow us to market more effectively and efficiently, reducing the cost on traditional marketing methods. Not only is social media technology cheaper to market with than traditional methods, your target audience 'hangs out' there and pays more attention to it. In addition social techonolgy allows us to listen to what is important to, parents, children, teachers and other important stakeholders and from there we can create better, more informative marketing information and communication.
Why is Social Media Marketing Important to Your School?
Social Media Marketing is making a huge impact on how we view and use traditional marketing. New social technologies such as facebook and Twitter, allow us to share information more freely and quicker than ever before.
This new information allows prospects and customers to make informed choices from user generated content. It also allows independent schools to market in a much more acceptable way to social media users, being more personality driven, in an open, honest, and transparent manner.
The transparent nature of social media means that for a campaign to reach its full potential, a school must understand and administer a campaign for themselves. For that, knowledge and expertise is essential.
So AMDIS in Association with eskimosoup has developed specifically independent schools orientated Social Media Workshops in order to transfer our knowledge and expertise over to you. Our workshops gives you the tools and confidence you need to effectively run campaigns that bring you the customers that you want.
The Workshop
The Workshops are characterised by pragmatic advice in plain English. The style is very conversational, informal, and interactive. All attendees take a significant and manageable step forward from their current level of expertise.
The course and all of its materials is delivered with the Marketing Director of an independent school in mind. We only use relevant and practical examples that the delegate can take as inspiration and use to quickly develop a Social Media Marketing campaign.
We provide the delegate with all materials needed on the day and provide the information and tools to communicate back to their colleagues at the school, in order for them to achieve 'buy in'. We also provide each delegate with a step-by-step Social Media plan, a 'hints & tips' ebook, and post workshop support, via our blog and facebook page.
Each workshop is a day in length, starting at 9.30am and finishing at 5.30pm. We cover the following areas in depth and in detail:
- Why Social Media?
- Where is it all leading?
- The importance of inbound marketing.
- The importance of social proof.
- Introduce you to the main Social Media networks and their demography.
- Identify how YouTube, Twitter, facebook, LinkedIn, and many more can be used to build your brand and generate 'ready to buy' traffic to your own website.
- Real life successes.
- Explain how to convert Social Media into a conversation.
- Reveal the danger of not monitoring Social Media.
- Goal setting
- Strategy
- Social Media Policy
The AMDIS eskimosoup Social Media Marketing Workshop is priced at a member discounted rate of £250 (+ VAT) per delegate
